Application: Water content of tablets - automated
The quality and shelf life of pharmaceuticals depend to a large
extent on their water content. Most pharmacopoeias stipulate thermogravimetry and Karl Fischer titration (KFT) for water quantification.

We have a system to take you from tablet to water content using a high-frequency homogenizer that also serves as a stirrer during the titration. This poster describes the analytical procedure and the results obtained for different tablet types.

Application: Diazepam in fluids & preparations
Diazepam is part of the chemical family found in tranquilizers and antidepressants. This bulletin describes its determination in tablets and body fluids (blood, serum, urine) down to trace level (0.05 µg/mL) by means of differential pulse polarography.

Application: Theophylline assay USP 28-NF 23
Theophylline and theobromine were determined using reversed phase chromatography with UV detection. An 850 Cation Ion Chromagraphy System with Prontosil C-18 column was used.
